Nortic and BTH want to help build the region’s skills base and connect the Gräsvik campus with business in Karlskrona. A partnership is therefore being set up within the master’s program in Business Analytics.
The partnership will mainly take shape across three courses, with Nortic contributing guest lectures, real cases and anonymized data from the company’s operations. Working with real business challenges gives students insight into how theory turns into practice, and how data can be used to create genuine business value. The project is also intended to strengthen the link between education and business and make Karlskrona an even more attractive place for Swedish and international students.
For BTH, the partnership is an important part of developing a more practical program with closer ties to business. The initiative has also allowed BTH to apply for development funding from the Knowledge Foundation under the AVANS program, for further development of the degree. The partnership also lays a foundation for research initiatives, a possible business lab, hackathons and entrepreneurship events that foster innovation and strengthen the ties between students, researchers and industry partners.
Applications for the autumn semester of 2026 are now open. Eligibility for the program requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
