Get a deeper understanding of the era shaped by Warhol’s most commercial, but also most ground breaking, side – together with one of our knowledgeable guides. And round it all off with a glass of sparkly at the bar.
Some people call Andy Warhol a sell-out – and they’ll be absolutely right. Business Art was one of his most influential art forms. From the launch of his Pop Art in early 1961, Warhol examined the financial systems at the base of the consumer culture he portrayed. In the late 1960’s he was a driving force behind a new trend within conceptual art, where the tools of business and finance were used as art material.
In this exhibition you will meet Warhol, but also other artists working within the same theme, from Warhol’s time until present day. Together with your guide you will get a deeper understanding of the concept which Warhol named Business Art, “the step that comes after art”.
The viewing will be held in English and will last for approximately 30 mins. Entrance to all of the museum’s exhibitions is included in the price, as well as a glass of sparkling wine, which is served at the bar after the viewing.
