Joachim Trier’s star-studded film Sentimental Value, starring Stellan Skarsgård, Renate Reinsve, and Elle Fanning among others, was selected for the main competition at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Grand Prix. This marks the fourth time Joachim Trier has been featured at the festival, further cementing his position as one of the world’s most prominent directors. Trier also competed in the main competition at Cannes with his previous film, The Worst Person in the World, for which Renate Reinsve won the award for Best Actress.
