One of electronic music's most acclaimed live acts returns to Sweden with a brand new audiovisual production, following the release of their highly anticipated third studio album SLUG, out January 29 on Ninja Tune.
Northern Irish duo BICEP, consisting of Matt McBriar and Andy Ferguson, have established themselves as one of the most distinctive and influential acts in contemporary electronic music. Blending euphoric breakbeats, hypnotic rhythms and emotionally charged melodies, their sound moves effortlessly between the intensity of the dancefloor and cinematic, deeply atmospheric moments.
From their acclaimed albums Bicep and Isles to modern electronic classics such as Glue, Atlas and Apricots, the duo have built a musical and visual universe entirely their own.
The Swedish shows form part of the first run of live performances following the release of SLUG, offering audiences an early opportunity to experience the next chapter of BICEP LIVE.
Following celebrated appearances at Way Out West, Gothenburg will host BICEP's first standalone warehouse show in the city, taking over Frihamnen's Kajskjul 105 on March 5.
The following night, BICEP LIVE returns to Stockholm, bringing the new production to B-K on March 6.
Every previous BICEP LIVE show presented by Department in Scandinavia has sold out in advance.
