Flowers Must Die are celebrating 20 years as a band in 2026, with a
few selected live shows and two record releases.
Earlier in May they collaborated with Rocket Recordings and the
promoter Mirror TV for two nights in London, both evenings with our
Malmö friends VED, and also the legendary Robert Leiner for a rare
live show.
FMD self released an EP with two tracks recorded 9 years ago in the
classic Silence studio, a full lengh release will be out in mid
September. The EP "Stormen Före Lugnet" feature Rasmus Alkestrand on
Saxophone from True Grit, and Gustav Nygren from Kungens Män. During
the Silence recordings we had some guests with us from Katla, Vårt
Solsystem and Me and My Kites, adding Sitar, Percussion and Organ.
FMD have not performed in Malmö for over 9 years, we don´t perform
often as spread out in 3 diifferent countries. But happy to be back
and once again invite Rob from Smote on drums, as well as the original
line-up.
